Aloft is a floating-island survival sandbox by Astrolabe Interactive. Explore the sky, gather resources and turn an island into a flying home. The Windows game entered Early Access on January 15, 2025.
Co-op for up to eight players
According to Steam, up to eight people can play online. The game also supports Steam Workshop and dedicated servers. The developer's FAQ states that dedicated servers can be hidden, but password protection for them is not currently supported.
Early Access updates
The Discovery & Ancestry update was released on August 26, 2026, with redesigned world exploration, new biomes and further changes. Publisher Funcom calls it the final major Early Access content update before the team's focus moves to version 1.0. See the official English announcement.
