Core Keeper is a mining sandbox adventure set in a subterranean world. Build a base, gather ores and other resources, craft equipment, explore caves and defeat bosses.

Player limits by platform

PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch 2 support up to eight players in a shared online world. The original Nintendo Switch supports up to four players. Nintendo's official English Switch 2 store listing explicitly confirms online play for 1–8.

Crossplay and inviting friends

Crossplay is supported between PC storefronts, including Steam, GOG, Epic Games Store and Microsoft Store. PlayStation 4 and 5 can play together, as can Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo are not part of one crossplay pool.

On PC, the host can copy the Game ID from the in-game menu and send it to friends, who use the Join Game option. Crossplay must be enabled when connecting between different PC storefronts. For instructions, see the official English support FAQ.

Dedicated servers

PC dedicated-server software is available for shared worlds that need to stay online without the original host. Using a dedicated server does not remove the console crossplay restrictions.
