Don't Starve Together is Klei's co-operative survival game set in The Constant. Gather food, craft equipment, build a base and survive seasons, monsters and other dangers together.
How many players can join a server?
Klei documents online and dedicated-server configurations for up to 64 players. This is a configurable server capacity, not a recommendation that a typical co-op group should have that size; performance and server settings matter.
Local split-screen and LAN
Supported console editions offer two-player split-screen, while Klei also documents local and LAN play options for Nintendo Switch. PC multiplayer is designed around separate game clients. Dedicated servers can keep a shared world available independently of a particular player's client.
Does crossplay work?
No crossplay between PC and console families is supported. Klei account 'Shared Unlocks' relate to cosmetic unlocks, not multiplayer crossplay. See Klei's English Shared Unlocks FAQ.
