Factorio is an automation and factory-building game by Wube Software. Mine resources, construct production lines and transport goods using conveyors, robots and trains. Multiplayer groups can work together on one expanding factory.

Co-op across PC and Nintendo Switch

Factorio supports multiplayer and dedicated-server setups on PC. Wube's official Nintendo Switch documentation says that PC-to-Switch crossplay works when game versions match. Steam players can select the appropriate 'console' beta branch where required. The original Switch edition does not support mods and requires Nintendo Switch Online for internet multiplayer, but not LAN.

Factorio – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition and the Space Age expansion launched on December 22, 2025. Wube explicitly confirms full compatibility and crossplay with the PC version. The English Nintendo store lists online play for up to 64 players on Switch 2. This is a platform store limit, not a guarantee that every multiplayer session will perform well with that many players.
