Grounded is a survival adventure where players shrink to insect size to explore a backyard. Craft equipment, build bases and survive together.

Four-player co-op and crossplay

Up to four people can share a game world. Crossplay supports PC, Xbox, PlayStation 4/5 and Nintendo Switch. Enable Crossplay in settings and link a free Microsoft/Xbox account to use cross-platform multiplayer. Obsidian recommends that someone on a non-Nintendo platform host a mixed group when possible.

Shared Worlds and Steam multiplayer

Steam-only multiplayer with Steam friends can run without a Microsoft account after update 1.4.5. Crossplay, Shared Worlds and Playgrounds still require one. Authorized friends can host a shared cloud world while the original owner is offline. See Obsidian's English crossplay instructions.
