Helldivers 2 is an online co-op shooter about squads deploying to hostile planets to complete objectives for Super Earth. Up to four players can share a mission, though solo and smaller squads are possible. Missions feature reinforcements, supply drops, airstrikes and friendly fire.
Crossplay across PC, PS5 and Xbox
Crossplay works between Windows PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Xbox joined on August 26, 2025. Players on different platforms can deploy in one squad.
No cross-progression
Arrowhead's English support article, updated October 17, 2026, states that cross-save, cross-buy and cross-progression are not supported. Purchases, Warbonds, cosmetics, account inventory and campaign progress cannot be moved or merged between separate accounts or platforms.
