Little Nightmares III follows Low and Alone through the unsettling Spiral. Each character has a different tool, requiring teamwork to navigate puzzles, enemies and dangerous environments.
Two-player online co-op, not local
The entire campaign supports two-player online co-op. There is no couch co-op. Solo players receive an AI-controlled companion. A campaign save started in solo mode cannot be switched into a co-op playthrough; start a new save to change modes.
Friend's Pass and crossplay restrictions
The Free Trial & Friend's Pass allows someone who does not own the complete game to join a friend who does. Both players must use the same platform. There is no crossplay between PC, PlayStation, Xbox or Nintendo platforms. See Bandai Namco's English co-op explanation.
