Monster Hunter Rise is an action RPG about fighting monsters, gathering materials and upgrading equipment. Up to four hunters can join a quest.

Which editions can play together?

PlayStation 4 and PS5 can connect across generations. Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and the Microsoft Store Windows edition can also connect within one platform family. However, the Steam PC version does not connect to that Xbox pool, and Nintendo Switch uses a separate multiplayer ecosystem.

This is not universal crossplay. The official English Capcom manual describes multiplayer.
