Monster Hunter: World is a cooperative action RPG about tracking and hunting creatures, crafting equipment and exploring the New World.

Four-player quests and sixteen-player sessions

A multiplayer hunting party supports up to four players. The broader online session can hold up to sixteen hunters, but individual hunts remain four-player activities.

No cross-platform online co-op

Capcom keeps the PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One editions separate for multiplayer; there is no crossplay across them. The console versions launched January 26, 2018, followed by Windows PC later in 2018. See the official English Steam listing.
