Orbitals is a two-player space adventure from Shapefarm about Maki and Omura, who solve puzzles and navigate sci-fi environments using different tools.
Exactly two players, locally or online
The game launched on September 3, 2026 for Nintendo Switch 2. Two people can play on one Switch 2 or online on two Switch 2 consoles. A free Global Friend's Pass allows an invited second player to join a full-game owner without buying a second copy.
GameShare and subscriptions
Local GameShare can involve a compatible original Nintendo Switch console, but the purchased game runs on Switch 2. Nintendo Switch Online is needed for both players in online sessions, according to the official English ways-to-play guide. Orbitals is not a solo game.
