Path of Exile 2 is an action RPG set years after the original game on Wraeclast. Explore areas, collect loot, customize characters and battle bosses solo or with friends.

Online groups and couch co-op

Online parties can contain up to six players. There is also two-player couch co-op on supported platforms. During Early Access the second couch player may need a character on the same Path of Exile account, depending on the current account configuration.

Crossplay, cross-progression and Early Access

The game entered Early Access on December 6, 2024 on Windows, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The developer supports crossplay and cross-progression across these editions. Early Access is not generally free to play; paid supporter packs provide regular access. The exact transition date to free-to-play version 1.0 should be checked against a current developer announcement and is not asserted here. Consult the official English Steam listing.
