Returnal is Housemarque's third-person roguelike shooter about Selene, who is trapped in a repeating cycle on the changing planet Atropos.
Two-player online co-op
Returnal supports two-player online cooperation through much of its campaign. The host's world progression governs the available environment and equipment. The joining player can assist but does not automatically inherit the host's permanent story progress.
Excluded activities and no crossplay
The Tower of Sisyphus, house sequences and daily challenge activities are outside the cooperative mode. Windows and PlayStation 5 have separate online multiplayer pools: the PC release cannot crossplay with PS5. Refer to the English Steam listing for limitations.
